Texture analyser
The new CT3 Texture Analyser features not only the traditional Compression Mode, but now includes a new Tension Mode, allowing manufacturers to test their products and the packaging as well. The large vertical work area of the CT3 is ideal for large sample placement. This also allows for increased travel distance maximising the functionality of the new Tension Mode. The analyser offers load cells in 100g, 1,000g, 1,500g, 4,500g and 10kg. The 10kg load limit more than doubles the limit of the instrument’s predecessor. It also features a broader speed range for probe movement, a USB port for direct connection to a PC, and an optional temperature probe. Seven test modes and a complete line of fixtures for use with the analyser are also available.
