Setting new standards in food sample preparation, the Grindomix knife mills from Retsch meet all special laboratory and analytical requirements. Whereas the well-proven GM 200 processes a maximum of 700 mL of sample material, the newly developed GM 300 homogenises larger quantities of up to 4.5 litres quickly and reproducibly. The mills can handle all substances with a high water, oil or fat content as quickly and reliably as dry, soft, medium-hard and fibrous products, thus making the instruments much superior to any commercial household mixer. The operation of the new mill is simple and safe: the container can be filled and emptied outside the mill, which makes cleaning easy and reduces cross-contamination by possible sample residues. All parts of the system in contact with the sample material are autoclavable.
