Three-in-one microtube shakers
Ideal for applications requiring heating and mixing of samples, a newly expanded line of highly versatile, variable speed, variable temperature thermoshakers for microtubes is available. Compact, with a low profile and small footprint, the PHMT Thermoshaker product range can accommodate 0.5 mL, 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL size microtubes. Each unit is supplied with a heating block for the desired microtube size; interchangeable heating blocks are available separately. The thermoshakers can be used either as microtube thermoshakers, compact benchtop incubators without shaking, or microtube shakers without temperature control. This multifunctional capability maximises versatility as well as efficiency. By combining the mixing operation with the incubation phase, both reaction process times and operator workloads are reduced and sample preparation throughput is increased. With an operating temperature range of 4 to 45șC, and reproducible shaking speeds from 250 to 1400 rpm, the units are suitable for use in cold rooms as well as incubators.The instruments are easy to operate via a simple setup procedure for temperature, shaking speed and running time. Continuous or timed operation is enabled, with an audible alarm and automatic shutoff.
