Ideal for performing bacteriological or analytical routine tests, the Acura manual 810 dilution pipette incorporates sterilised polypropylene straws (190 or 240 mm long) to enable the sample to be reached without contact between the instrument and the container. The 4 mm straw diameter prevents blocking when liquid contains particles in suspension. The pipette includes an interchangeable PE nozzle filter to protect the instrument from liquid intrusion. Two pre-calibrated fixed volumes (no setting required) allow consecutive aspiration and subsequent pipetting of 1 mL and 0.1 mL of the same liquid. Used at any steps of 1:10 dilution series, the procedure allows fast and precise sample distribution in tubes or plates. There is no direct contact with the hand and straw thanks to the Justip adjustable straw tip ejector, activated by a large, ergonomically located button. The instrument is autoclavable when fully assembled at 121°C. The light weight, soft shape and smooth plunger greatly reduce hand fatigue.
