Grinding mill for small sample sizes. The new Mini-Mill pulverisette 23 is particularly suitable for the grinding of small quantities of samples. The compact instrument can grind any sort of solid samples and is both user-friendly and affordable. A special feature of the new instrument is its ability to produce fine comminution of very small quantities of dry laboratory samples or solids in suspension. It is also particularly useful for mixing and homogenisation of emulsions. The mill can handle sample quantities up to 5 mL and sample particle sizes up to 6 mm. Ideal for sample preparation in chemical analysis, chromatography, mass spectrometry or X-ray structural analysis, the mill can also be used for preparing samples for genetic research, for the homogenisation of active ingredients, preparation of extracts for forensic analysis and milling of pigments or other precious materials.
